Looks like phonetextbox still shows hint even while being in focus sometimes. For example when text is string.Empty but control is in focus. Probably this is not always a bug, but would be nice to be able to contorl that

Is there any chance of getting an option to show the hint when the box is selected but no text has been typed yet? This is especially helpful for search pages and other constructs where you want to have the text box selected by default
